My partner and I have always found the food at Falafel King on Lake & Lyndale to be quite good. However, the service keeps getting worse. 1st visit: hot summers day, no A/C and all the doors closed; and the woman behind the counter pressured us order quickly @ 6:30 PM. 2nd visit: the young American guy behind the counter taking the orders & the money was busy on his mobile and then, and more disturbingly, was being belligerent to the Latino cook--we felt extremely uncomfortable. 3rd visit: we called for take out, placed out order, and gave our credit card info. 10 mins later we recieved a call telling us to come and pick our order up because they couldn't deliver...AFTER THEY TOLD US THEY COULD DELIVER! We are hoping they credit our card back. Sorry Falafel King...we're going to SoHo Cafe from now on. Let us know when professionalism returns to your establishment.

I have been eating at Falafel King restaurants since before they had the current name. We have long enjoyed the Lake/Lyndale location, and now that there is a Bloomington location close to where my wife works, we have enjoyed this new and larger location. As a vegan, this is a place in which I can get really tasty, healthful and fulfilling food that satisfies myself, and at the same time there is everything available that does the same for my omnivore friends and family!Zev AelonyMinneapolis

Just few nights ago, I had a dinner with a friend at Falafel King on the famous Lake St uptown. My over all rating is "Exceeds Customer Expectations".###a) their services were prompt###b) will recommend to friends###c) Unmatched, compared to other Middle Eastern or Mediterenian eating places.###d) Got more than what we expected.###e) Liked the setting, food and friendliness of employees###f) They realy specialize in Mediterenean Food###g) would recommend anyone who needs a taste of Mediterenean food.
