Rude and snooty

We are do-it-yourselfers, who are renovating our bathroom. We stopped in to get information about a jet/air combination bathtub. The receptionist seemed to look down her nose when she found out we didn't have a contractor, and the "sales" person was not knowledgeable on the product, and just threw catalogs at us and couldn't wait to get rid of us. We own several high end rental units, and they have lost any potential business we might ever have for them.
