My daughter went to preschool here in Fall of 2012. Prior to going here, she absolutely love school. After the school year started, she became more withdrawn regarding school. I was talking with her teachers and preschool director about this for a few months because it was only worsening. The teachers were extremely rude and their only advice to me was that we had to have play dates with the other families/children from class. How was this the only solution and why was this required in order for my daughter to enjoy and thrive in school? Finally one day at home, my daughter told me that "my teachers at school hurt me" and she showed my how they hurt her -- grabbing her arm hard. We immediately withdrew her from school. Not only did we have a major struggle integrating my daughter into a new preschool since she was scared to death being in a classroom environment, but she still thinks about her horrible experience there and told us out of the blue 6 months ago that "my mean teachers kicked me" and she demonstrated that to me. Kids don't have the ability to make this stuff up..!!! What is most upsetting is that we were members of this church and the pastor told my husband "we have never had complaints about these teachers". Well good for you!!!! After we stopped going to this disgusting church and preschool, our daughter eventually healed and we got her back again!! She went to an absolutely amazing new preschool who helped her become less scared of school and she got her excitement back again for going to learning!! She made tons of friends at her new school, learned a lot, and loved going! My biggest regret was not taking her out of Peace Preschool sooner.
