The service here is top notch but to them it is all about getting paid. I have had pet insurance for years and my vets in Chicago worked with me on a payment plan until insurance paid. VCA would let me pay half up front and the remainder when insurance paid. My primary vet let me post date a check. I gave pet crossing a prior authorization form for insurance, offered to give them a post dated check or to work out a payment plan they rejected all of those options saying it was pay or nay. I am not looking for a handout simply a way to have services performed prior to payment. The insurance company will approve the surgery so I don't see the issue. In today tough economic times I feel that finding a vet that will work with you financially is critical. I just had four grand in surgery performed last month so I can tell you services is great....just don't expect them to work with your insurance carrier or you.no handout requested

The doctors and staff and Pet Crossing are amazing. They are the best and I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else now that I found this place. I have a dog who unfortunately has a lot of health problems and the care and compassion from the everyone at Pet Crossing is very much appreciated.
