Established in 1969, Reuben Lindh Family Services has more than 100 staff members who serve over 1,200 families. Its family focus program s service area includes poverty, homelessness, poor parenting skills, mental health issues, and drug and alcohol abuse. The center s family therapy and counseling service department provides individual, couple, family and play therapy services. Reuben Lindh Family Services also offers supervised visitation program that provides intensive supervised visitation services to families separated by court order with children in foster home and shelter care placement. Its therapy department provides occupational, physical, music and speech therapies. Additionally, it offers various programs, including therapeutic pre-schools, supervised visitation, chemical dependency aftercare, housing advocacy and child care.
