Provided by YP.comThe only 'fair' review on here first, obviously does not understand Spanish culture. Tapas are meant to come in small portions of 2 to 6 pieces to a dish. For the price of some of the tapas, it is very fair considering they have to order it from Spain or other Latin American country direct. Second, it shouldn't be the restaurant's fault that it desires to maintain the original names of the dishes and you have to ask questions. I personally loved seeing the original names and seeing the dishes sitting up on the counters (refrigerated of course), it reminded me of the times I was in Spain. And asking questions about the foods is a way to learn the culture. The only thing that I didn't like all that much was the feel of the place. I was hoping to be reminded of the tapas bars in Spain and I felt that Solera, although very elegant and nice place, made the tapas a 'ritzy' experience with the presentation. Tapas are not meant to be eaten with a presentation to knock your socks off. It's the KISS principle.
