Long and short, I tried returning unused green treat 10' boards I purchased there several months before. The basement finish took longer than expected and these were left over. They refused to accept them back as they now use a different vendor for wood. Really? It's wood! Who cares who made it? As a consumer I have never looked at a board and decided not to purchase it due to one manufacturer or another. Crazy. I have literally spent thousands at this store in the past 11 years that I lived near it with different repairs and upgrades. I literally just prior to this had them out to install carpet at my house (that too was a bit messed up). After this incident I will never go back to any Home Depot. I had 5 boards worth $30-$40 that they could have simply resold. Never again. Menard's or Lowe's for me for now on. I even complained on their Facebook page and got no response at all. If they don't care, why would I give them my hard earned money?
