I went with friend's to Vina Restaurant - Richfield MN 55423 on 1-1-11 for lunch. I have to say, being vietnamese going to a vietnamese restaurant is like going to McDonalds. so i thought. I remember going to Vina - Richfield Mn in the past and the food was good, kinda like home cooking. But i have to say this time it was not. i ordered vietnamese chicken chow mein which is a simple staple in any viet home. I have to say it was not very good. Usually the veggies are fresh and crisp when cooked. Here the veggies tasted limp and colorless. I was impressed with the awards Vina had made in years past. But I truely have to say the food was not so good! My friend ordered Sesame chicken and the sauce was really peculiar, I tasted it and it I couldn't tell what it tasted like. I would have to say overall the food was mediocre. Ive tasted better food at the Village House NE Mpls, and Kinhdo Uptown Mpls as well as Skyway Wok Downtown Mpls all Vietnamese and all very good. I was very dissapointed with Vina. It used to be very good. Not sure what happened?
