Worst hotel ever. Dirty, smelly,a/c non functioning, switch plates missing, mold filthy carpet. We lasted 10 minutes in the room. Had an asthma attack from the smell. Owner refused to refund money. Colossal jerk.

I give it a 5 stars great service nice people and very clean!!! My husband forgot his phone there and the owner was nice to mail it to is to corpus christi tx. Recommend this motel to everyone.

For a small town hotel/motel, I thought it was really good. The owner was SUPER nice and came by every morning to see if we wanted coffee and told us it was in the office, along with some pastries.



I mean, it's Minneola -- you shouldn't come with the expectations of staying at a five star hotel. You can obviously tell it's a little aged -- wood paneling, retro furniture (which I thought was pretty cool). But it had a microwave, minifridge, tv, table and chairs, etc.



PROS:

Very cozy and clean.

Owner was very friendly.

Owner asked us if there was anything that we'd change about the experience.



CONS:

Our Credit Card was charged when we made the reservation...not when we checked in, which was a little strange.

Family said the shower was a little rough (but it was due to the water being hard -- most likely lime build up...easy to clean -- didn't really bother us).

For me, I thought the price was a bit much for what they had to offer -- 59.99 for a reg two double-bed-room. It IS a small town, it's aged...I expected it to be more around $49..



Overall, I'd recommend it to others. I can deal with the extra $10...or charging it early...but I would not have been able to deal with a rude staff/owner. This guy was just so easy to talk to and was very friendly.
