My Mother-in-law didn't come to lunch or dinner for 2 days and the only person who noticed was the cook because she talked to her everyday. She had a severe urinary track infection and ended up in the hospital for 3 days. No one checked on her for 2 days. This place is not a place my husband and I want her in but my brother-in-law put her there.

The facilities are very nice as are the grounds. Direct staff gave my grandmother personal attention and exceptional care. The owner, Pat was terrible. She allowed antipsychotic medication to be administered to my grandmother without consent. When we requested it be stopped, she disregarded our wishes. I had to call when she wasn't there and talk to the charge nurse to get the med discontinued. Pat was going to move my grandmother to another unit on their grounds without consent also. The only way I found out was because we were having her evaluated to be transfered to another facility and Pat told the woman evaluating her that she was moving her. When we confronted Pat regarding this, she denied it, gave excuses then admitted to parts of the truth. She also made the transfer to another facility hell. Pat deliberately left paperwork unfinished. We were scrambling between doctors and my grandmother's new facility the last day there, it was terrible. The CNA's and several of the nurses were absolutely wonderful, I give the staff 5 stars. But, dealing with the owner morning and night because she never left the facility, intercepted all phone calls and refused to address our concerns makes the place unbearable. I have also filed a formal complaint with the state regarding her illegal activity.
