Purchased a boat from this dealer. Traded in our camper receiving the trade-in-value and wrote a check for 3000 dollars for a 1989 cabin cruiser. Specifically asked if the boat was water ready. Was told that is was. Took it out the first time and it took on water. The only thing that kept the boat on the surface was a darn good bilge pump. Returned it to the dealer to have a transome seal replaced. Took the dealer 3+ weeks to fix it. Then was charged for the service. After a lengthy discussion it was agreed that we would split the cost and that Swensons would send us a check for half of what we just paid. Again, I asked if this was water ready. Again, I was told it was ready to go. On the water a second time. Wont start. Had to purchase and change out the ignition switch. Boat starts. But, everytime we put it in gear it stalls. Miserable experiece. Took to another marina to get rid of it. Come to find out the trad-in-value is only 2500 dollars and the retail is 5K at best. Not only did we invest 500+ dollars into it we end up loosing 5k on the deal.

I would recomend alot of searching into what your buying. Also ask detailed question about the post purchase service. I will not recomend this dealeership.

Oh, by the way......we are still waiting for the check.
