Grissom Middle School is operated by the Penn-Harris-Madison School, and is located in Mishawaka, Ind. The school offers classes from grades six through eight and enrolls more than 600 students. It was founded in 1968 and provides an extensive curriculum. The school s curriculum includes mathematics, language arts, science, social studies, fine and practical arts, band, English, physical and health education. It inspires students to reach their potential by encouraging academic achievement, fostering the development of a positive self-concept and promotes to become a lifelong learner. The school also provides computer laboratories, television studio and a variety of sports activities. Its sports activities include basketball, volleyball, wrestling, track and field and cross country. Grissom Middle School nurtures the students to become productive and responsible citizens in this changing world.
