Great sermons

Father Castillo is the best when it comes to explaining the Sunday readings binding the gospel with the history of the time. As Father Castillo calls it the University of Saint John of the Firleds we learn more there than at any bible class I've attended including Pan American University. Father Castillo also deciphers the mentality of the protetant movement and their view of the bible, which is to take it literaly. He says the narrow mentality (my words not his) of the protetants is such that they are in a never ending quest to debunk the catholic church by their born-again approach to people in general. Father Castillo explains the salvation is won and not claimed by saying you are saved just because you say. Needs to be earned. And it is a process of a lifetime and not a whimsical move that quenches a sudden urge to be saved. You are saved by taking the body and blood of Christ every week. The bible says so.

The church of Father Castillo as I like to call it is the best place of worship you can attend if you thirst for the truth. He not only skims through the passages but indulges in them with such knowledge you cannot but think he is a man of great knowledge ot skripture. He is going to tell it like it is. No feeling-good church sermond here. If the coat fits wear it. If you do not like to hear the truth about for example "not being married through the church you are living in sin" claim you go somewhere else where they do not speak the plain truth, period.

Need to soak in some good bible truth and awakening of your faith go listen to Father Castillo. Great homilys.
