Capistrano Valley High School has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students in grades nine through 12. It offers advanced placement courses in environmental science, biology, calculus, statistics, chemistry, European history, computer science, American history, language and composition, French, German, Spanish, literature, psychology, music theory and art history. It offers vocational and technical courses through the Regional Occupational Program, and its academy of technology, math and science offers accelerated learning programs. The school offers a wide range of activities and events, including dances, assemblies, community service and student clubs, such as drama, National Honor Society, character counts, California Scholarship Federation and a science club. The school complex includes video broadcast system, career and college planning centers, and science and computer labs.
