Don't go late at night...

at 10:00pm on August 26th, my boyfriend and I stopped at the Ole's in East Missoula to get some gas on our way home. We also bought a tall boy and a pack of cigarettes. The cigarettes cost $5.05, the tall boy cost $2.09. We asked to get the remainder of our $20 put into gas. We had been working for awhile, and were kind of tired, so it didn't register right away that the man behind the counter had shorter us. He put the remainder as $7.81 in gas. Does that add up to you? $5.05 + $2.09 = $7.14 + $7.81 = $14.95... when my boyfriend went back into the store to ask about the missing money, he had to wait awhile because the cashier had also neglected to give the man 2 customers behind us, his change. And when my boyfriend finally got back up to the counter, the cashier was rude, asking for a receipt (when we were LITERALLY, just in there) that he never offered in the first place. And then spent another 5 minutes printing off 6 or 7 other reciepts that were completely unnecessary! Turns out he had charged us for an extra pack of cigarettes, yet only handed us one! How convenient! He was extremely rude about giving back the change, and even though he was proved wrong, still did not give us back all of our change! And when we were leaving, the other gas station attendant, that must have been on break, come sauntering back up. When we told him what had happened, he just laughed about it and said "what did he do now?" I'm not a rocket scientist or anything, but if someone can't punch in the correct numbers on a machine and then give back the correct change that the machine tells him to give back, maybe he shouldn't be handling people's money! I personally will NEVER go back past 7:00 at night. The ladies that work the afternoon have way more going for them and they can actually count!!! He didn't even deserve the 1 star!!!!!!

This is the worst convenience store in Missoula. The staff are lazy, sit on chairs behind the counter and talk on the phone when the line for the register is so long it reaches the end of the store. There is never any coffee made. They make coffee once at 6 AM and if you get there after 7 in the morning the coffee is gone, no second pot is made. The staff talks about customers and their private affairs so everybody in the vicinity has to listen to their prittle prattle. Give this store a big miss.

Horrible Service!

I am writing this review in reaction to my visit at Ole's on North Orange Street in Missoula! The store is ok and so are the prices, even gas is always higher right next to the interstate. However I've encountered some of the rudest cashiers today, that I have ever dealt with, because I asked to have my deli food wrapped in alu foil! We are not a Convenience store was the answer after my request was denied. I don't wrap stuff and we're out of foil (liar!!). If Ole's is not a convenient store then one can only conclude that it's an inconvenient store! The staff is rude and lazy. Time to clean house Ole's! I'll be taking my business elsewhere!
