Definitely make your plans carefully when eating here. The chicken was out of this world and the beer is great and very affordable. However it did come at a price. We ordered our drinks and did not get them for 15 minutes. We were told that it was because they were so busy downstairs. I went downstairs and just paid for my second drink and was back upstairs in under 3 minutes. There were maybe 8 people in the bar. Our food took close to an hour to arrive on our table and when I asked the waiter if it was normal for it to take so long he told us that they were short 1 employee. To top it all off we never got our garlic toast. Oh and then I call to just advise the manager of the unpleasant experience, I can hear the employee talking to someone with the phone being covered. Not covered enough! He asks a someone. "This guy wants to talk to a manager or owner? Should I tell him your here or not? Or should I just take a message. Then proceeds to tell me that the manager isn't in but this isn't a good phone to catch them at". He does not give me the proper number and tells me that he will pass the information on at the next employee meeting! Sure he will. Well like I said, great food if you have absolutely nothing else to do with the rest of your evening.

Still the best fried chicken hands down. a little pricy these days but still a great treat for birthdays or special occasions with the family

artery-clogging buttermilk-bettered chicken at its finest. You will not find better, homestyle fried goodness anywhere else outside of the south. Eat here (just not to often).

Stopped by the DF after a football game. It was very crowded, but the waitress took our order, and got it turned around quickly. She was awesome as was the chicken. But then it always is.
