I used Epic to provide the roof metal for my barn last summer, after complete there was a noticeable shade difference between the upper and lower roofs. The owner of Epic explained this in a couple of different ways, first he blamed it on the store that I bought it from and secondly on the fact that they used different suppliers for the upper and lower roof metals. He eventually agreed to replace the upper roof at his cost and with a roofing company of his choice, AMBS of Gold Creek (see my google review of them), great!

This was agreed upon in mid summer, the installers finally showed up in early November. With snow on the roof the owner of AMBS assured me that his crew could do the job, after completing the reroof there are still many unresolved issues; roof anchor was not reinstalled, thousands of screws were dropped around the perimeter of the barn, dented and scratched roof metal to the point where the metal doesn't lay properly on the ridge seam, missing screws because the installers stripped out the sheathing, not a single purlin was hit with roofing screws, and poorly installed trim metal.

Unfortunately the owner of Epic Steel has seemed to wash his hands of this (his) mess. When I build my house this year I will use a company with better business practices such as Bridger Steel.
