On my first visit with Dr. Ries he noticed I was taking .5 mgs of klonopin. He told me that it could not be doing me any good at that low dose (I had been taking that dose for a long time) He bumped my dose up. I assumed he knew what he was doing. Now, a few years later, I am going through Withdrawal from this drug (klonopin is a Benzodiazapine. as is xanax, valium, others). How could he be so naive as to actually increase my dose when the withdrawal is so horrendous and I wasn't even saying I wanted more?

You better make sure you ask the Dr you see what exactly they are coding your appointment out as. I saw a physician in the broadway building and was charged for a different service than I made the appointment for. My insurance didn't cover their "code", and when I called to have it corrected, I was told that they were right and that they didn't do anything wrong. They would not even accommodate a portion of the charge. I will not be returning to the clinic for this specific reason.

I see Sarah McNerney in Family Practice, and she's amazing. I recommend her to everyone. So caring and compassionate!
