They have no idea what they are doing.

I took my Audi A4 into these guys after it broke down on my way to work when we were having a really bad cold spell thinking that one of my pumps or my battery was going out because the car was giving me an oil level error before it shut down. When I talked to these guys the next day after having it towed to them they treated me like and idiot when I told them what I thought was wrong. The next day they were telling me that my exhaust valve was bent and quoted me 6,000 to replace it. But they hadn't found the reason for my oil level light coming on yet. I asked if the timing belt was ok and they said it was fine, so I couldn't understand how I could have bent a valve. I didn't have a good feeling about this situation so I had these guys stop working on my car and had AAA tow my car to Bozeman Audi. My ended up having a fuel pump that went out and a damaged cam shaft which only ended up costing me 1,900 to get fix. Do not take your Audi to these people they have no idea what they are doing, grossly over charge for there work, and are completely dishonest! I will never let them touch my car again!

Dishonest inept and rude

Don't go here. I took my Volvo in because my warning light went on stating I had a problem with my transmission. Although the car was working OK, I took it in. to Mountain Imports and they did over $3000 of unnecessary work that did not need to be done. My warning light is still on. They told me that it the problem was just the warning light was stuck. They charged me all that money and couldn't even get the warning light fixed.

local professionals

I've been to Mountain Imports a few times now and have not had any problems with them. It's nice to have a professional BMW shop in town, my 525xi has never run better!

Very disappointed

I brought my 2000 VW Jetta in to get looked at because of a burning smell coming from the vents when the heater was on, in October 2009. After a whole day of waiting for a phone call about what they had found I was told that I needed about $1000 worth of work done on my car because it had never been serviced here before; most of it having been done in the last six months elsewhere. I was told that the smell was being caused by a leaking valve cover gasket. I agreed to have this repaired for $350. I picked up my car, drove about 5 blocks, turned on the heater and the smell was still there. I promptly called and spoke with someone about this and was told that it would eventually go away once the oil residue that was there from the leak had completely gone. It is now July 2010, nine months later, and I am unable to use the heater or A/C in my car as the smell coming from the vents is WORSE than when I brought it in to be fixed last October.

DON'T USE

I had my Volvo serviced for two years at mountain imports. I would never recommend going there. Mechanically sound however they are always trying to run up the bill with unneeded service. I felt they are very dishonest and when confronted with repairs admitted that they weren't absolutely necessary. They are also extremely over priced for their service compared to other shops in town. Don't Use!
