My son started at Sunflower a few years ago at 1.5 years old. Now he is 5 and graduating! His 4 year old sister attends, too. We are VERY happy with the new owners, Sam and Eugenia. They are very good at communicating and care for our children with all their hearts. My kids love their "work" and are very obviously learning and growing a lot at Sunflower. Their community service field trips are fun and meaningful. Sam and Eugenia are making lots of effort to upgrade the building and playground as they are able. Last year they put in a garden and the kids love their gardening work and watching plans grow. I highly recommend Sunflower Montessori!

Wonderful experience. Sunflower has had a change in ownership last year when it was sold to the two most wonderful teachers, Sam and Evgenia. I highly recommend it. Communication is excellent, and the teaching is so wonderful - it's hard to explain the Montessori method until you've seen it in action. I feel lucky I got to see first-hand - their parent-teacher conferences are "working" conferences where you get to see a real glimpse of what happens in the classroom. It is really cool to see!

My daughter started at Sunflower when she was a shy 2 year old. The teachers totally took her in and made her feel unique right from the start. They helped her find her own little personality and build confidence as she made friends, learned lots of new things and felt comfortable being who she is everyday. Everyone at Sunflower is patient and fun and very supportive. I could not have asked for a better preschool experience for my child, and I am so grateful for everyone involved with Sunflower Montessori.

Our child has gone here for four years. He learns so much every day -- he can tell you about planets, salt intake for desert dwellers, and which cars break down the most. But best of all he's become a kind, compassionate person who thinks of others. That's the best education of all.

We've had our child here for almost five years and will be sad to leave. Our child learns amazing things -- history, art, culture, and more, but more importantly he learns about how to be a better person.

Our daughter has been going to Sunflower Montessori since she was 1 years old! We feel very lucky to have found such an amazing school for her to attend. The teachers are amazing, facility is clean & organized and the knowledge she has gained is incredible. She is more then ready to attend kindergarten in the fall, and much of it is due to Sunflower!

This business is under new ownership as of August 2016. The new owners are also teachers there and have done wonders with the building, the playground, and the curriculum. This is an awesome place for early learning in Missoula, and is loved by children and parents alike.

Teachers are not educated as they claim. Children are not treated properly. Per the state website, background checks have not been completed for workers and child to worker ratios have been ignored time and time again.
