Worst ever! Do not even come close to it!

We went to eat this evening. We looked at the menu. We saw a dish with its description and picture that seemed promising. It also had a bowl with fruits.Problems:1. Although there were just a couple of clients, we had to wait and wait quite some time before the order was taken.2. When the plates arrived, we couldn't believe it. There as barely anything on them. The mushrooms, which in the picture looked abundant, were completely missing. We asked them what was going on, and they took back the plates to add some mushrooms.3. The fruits never came.So, we literally left hungry, but we did pay about $22.00 for two people…. just for nothing.So, avoid this restaurant.

On Sunday, 9/6, about 3:30pm' , a friend and I visited the Perkins in Mitchell, SD on our way home from the Black Hills area............ I have eaten many times at Perkins with much satisfaction, but the way we were treated on that day was really terrible. We were seated by a young man (I think he may have been an asst mgr )right next to the area where one would be greeted so we were not in an out of the way space. We waited for over 15 minutes to be approached by a staff member and were totally ignored. The place was almost empty at that time of day, so no excuse for this treatment. Several waitresses sailed by our booth several times, but not one person so much as asked if we'd been served of anything. Finally , disgusted, we left . I went up to this young man , who by the way, was busy chatting with several waitesses, and told him we were leaving and why. His cavalier, comment of *sorry about that* and no further attempt to placate us at all promted me to write this complaint. I would have thought a "I'm sorry, I'll get a waitress for you right away", would have at the very least, been warranted, but he obviously was more interested in chatting than keeping a customer satisfied.



I will add, that in October, a state convention of Red Hat Society, of which I am a member, will be in Mitchell, probably about 600-700 ladies, and I can assure you , Perkins will certainly get a bad review from us
