I choose American Roofing because they were a certified GAF roofer. Although they were on the more expensive side of the quotes I received I felt the GAF Certification would mean I would not suffer the the consequences of poor craftsmanship. Within a year of the new roof a leak appeared in my daughters room. After multiple calls they sent someone out who blamed it on the siding on the chimney. Not sure why the siding would be at fault as it never leaked in the previous 15 yrs we owned the home. I had a second inspector come out and he noted that the flashing was deteriorating and should have been replaced. In fact the quote said they would replace it. After several attempts to get American Roofing to respond they finally sent a crew out that did more damage than good. They did not let me know they were coming, did not go over the issues to be fixed and did not let me know what work they performed after they finished. I had it inspected again. Some flashing was replaced and others were painted black over the rust, I guess to hide the deterioration. The plywood what had become saturated was not replaced and the siding was damaged. I again tried to reach out to American Roofing but have been ghosted. Communication has been very difficult and follow up even worse.

Raul Porto and his crew did a good job at a fair and reasonable price on our large and somewhat complicated roof. They used quality materials and the work was performed promptly. The crew was courteous and tidy and they even returned to repair a problem that was unrelated to the roof. I would recommend American Roofing.

We had a new roof installed about 6 months ago. Every one I dealt with was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Much attention to the smallest detail. would defiantly recommend them

Had them come out to give me a quote 4 weeks ago. I have called twice and was promised that they were working on it. If you cant even get them to give you a quote, then they're probably not the right company to use.

I have been very pleased with the services offered by American Roofing. I received a prompt and thorough quote and they completed a very difficult project in a timely manner of only 2 days. Their crew was very punctual and left NO evidence of trash nor materials on my property either day. I would highly recommend their services.

The crew was always punctual and worked hard to complete the job promptly. I was very satisfied with the end result and very much appreciated their efforts to always clean-up every night before leaving. They were very responsive to all of my questions/concerns and managed the work in a professional manner throughout the job.

My family was very pleased with the work done by American Roofing. The staff was prompt and friendly. All questions and follow-up work was completed as requested. Most importantly, the roof looks great and the job was top notch.

The warranty they promised was deemed "null and void" by the manufacturer because they did not use the materials required to make the warranty valid (the did not use the required underlay material corresponding to what they submitted on the warranty application). They did not do the work as promised which will cost me a great deal to bring in another contract to finish the job. There was almost no supervision and the workers were left alone to do the job. Too many mistakes and omissions.
