Provided by YP.comI went to the Springhill Av Mobile, AL store, by mistake, after Lunch Rush on 10/30/2014 to buy Cottage Cheese and Fresh Blueberries. No blueberries but I picked up 2 containers of Cottage Cheese. I always check expiration dates. BOTH BRANDS of Cottage Cheese expired 10/06/2014. I checked the rest of the containers and ALL 20 or MORE of them expired on this date. I told an Associate and she checked to see if there were any in the back. It didn't seem to phase the manager that I informed about these expired and usafe food products. Instead, she questioned the validity of my discovery. The assisting Associate confirmed what I told the manager. I can remember that Greer's was a very dirty store in the past. It looks cleaner but is selling unsafe food products. Return and Potential customers need to pay attention to what you plan to buy before putting in your shopping cart. I'll pay more at another store, for a safer food shopping experience, rather than return to a Greer's store. Did I miss something? Is Alabama a "No Date State"? Is Greer's a Salvage Grocery Store? If so, does the rest of the public know? I believe that this business practice is Standard Operational Procedure. I won't visit Greer's again.
