Best in town. Their prices are very competitive - usually lower than anyone else. The people are fantastic & so is the service. I have purchased from them more times than I can count & they're always friendly & helpful. They always go the extra mile. They are like extended family.

I am a 22 years U.S. Army Veteran with multiple combat tours and I was excited to hear about this place. On today, July 27, 2013, I along with my wife and son walked in to purchase a minimum of 2 handguns. We walked in and there were 2 ladies behind the counter and we began to browse the selection of weapons. We looked and looked, but our presence was never acknowledged. Now, there were 2 other potential customers looking at guns also. I had assumed up to this point that maybe they were busy as to why they had not said anything to us until a white gentleman walked in and they immediately spoke to him. As you may guess I am not white, and as much as I can, I will let others know that unless you're white, don't bother to patronize this place. I have a wide net of friends and associates, a lot of them are white, and I will let it be known

Still great service.as for the ar prices they r the same or even cheaper than others only ar 2100 dollars is a consignment & yes its worth it so little bad info there.good luck with the academy thing especially if u have a problem with our product!(customer for (10years)

Sad to hear this! I heard that MSC was selling AR's for $2100, that list for $1200. Thats why I shop at Academy.

Very helpful and as far as I can tell, they're the only shop in town not gouging customers after the shortage. They'll have my business from now on.
