Based in Mobile, Ala., St Ignatius Catholic Church provides many opportunities for prayer, including daily mass, adoration and more than 15 prayer group or Bible studies monthly. It offers a number of volunteer opportunities through more than 50 ministries and programs including altar servers, Men of St. Joseph, Our Lady's Guild, music ministry, CYO sports program, adult education, life teen program and more. The church also organizes Mom's Day Out programs, providing care for infants and toddlers. Additionally, it operates St. Ignatius Catholic School, an elementary school for students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight, besides administering a preschool program for three and four year olds. The school is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and is accredited by the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges.
