A terrible place to live. They towed my vehicle right after I moved out. I left it there for a day and the next thing I know it's gone. The management treated me like crap when my upstairs neighbor's toilet overflowed and leaked into my apartment. My personal items were destroyed but it wasn't enough to take them to court. They never offered me new carpet when i requested it. There was someone else's feces on my carpet and they only offered to clean it. WORST NIGHTMARE EVER and I never got any reimbursement for the weeks I spent out of my apartment due to the destruction. Health department was called too. They thwarted them off by falsely telling them that parts of the ceiling were replaced along with the carpet as well. Liars!!

My bf and I moved in 5 months ago. We looked at the apartments at end of June and didn't get to move in until August 1st. Kept putting us off because the walls weren't painted. On moving day there was gum stuck on the carpet from previous tenant and bedroom door was missing also from previous tenant punching a hole through it. Took a month before we got the door. After a bad storm our bathroom ceiling started leaking, was never fixed and started growing mold. Still waiting for that to get fixed. Management has no concern whatsoever as long as they get their money on time.Then Christmas Day our living room ceiling started leaking and has a huge brown water stain, still they showed no concern.Cabinets rub particle board pieces when you lean against them and get all over the carpet. Our next door neighbor was robbed and they wanted to blame my bf because he has tattoos everywhere. PROFILING!!!!!!! Management seems to be biggots!!! Because of those accusations, they harass my bf constantly, and we're moving. Don't care if we're breaking lease, its better than being treated with disrespect. Spring for a more costly apartment and be guaranteed everything works. In other words they are SLUMLORDS!!!!! Wouldn't recommend a street bum to live here!!!!

The apartments are reasonable in price in a decent area of Mobile. They are not the newest nor fanciest, but they provide the essentials you need to live comfortably. It is a small complex so you don't have to deal with a sprawling campus. Neighbors are decent and normally quiet. The office manager is a sweetheart and always willing to help you out. If you want the fantastic work out rooms, clubhouses, pool areas and spas...well then you are going to have to pay for it...that's not this place...and that's why the rent is reasonable. This is a place you can afford to live, still be safe, AND afford to eat. Nothing fancy, but still clean, safe, and not in a ghetto. (Many of the apartments have recently undergone upgrades, so the "crappy" cabinets have been replaced by real wood.)

manager is the nicest lady you will ever find, staff that works for her are friendly and always available during office hours, moved up from south Florida and could not have found a better environment to live in. there were a few minor problems with the unit but they were fixed promptly when i brought up the issues to the manager.

We have been living in Sutton Place Appartments for about 5 months now and honestly we'd do anything for our lease to be up. I can tell you that after the first week the office and maintenance will treat you like crap. When we first moved in there was holes in the walls that were never fixed from the preivous owners and our fridge didnt work and kitchen light wasnt working and when we told them they told us it would cost ten dollars for them to replace our light even tho it was out before we even moved into our apartment. The shower doesnt run well and there is NEVER any hot water. The office and mainenance staff is VERY rude!! It takes maintenance a month to actually come and fix something that should already be working. One time our fridge stopped working AGAIN right after we went grocery shopping, so we called the office and told them about the fridge and they put us on hold forever and then told us "they will give maintenance our message" , about 4 hours later no one came, our food was going bad so we called again and of course they put us on hold and said "they will give maintenance our message", ok so now we thought they were gonna actually do there job but no one, 4 MORE hours passed and nothing. So now we call AGAIN and tell them no one has came and our food is going bad and all they said was we will tell mainenance, so at 9:35 at night, maintenance shows up with waffle house cup in his hand and his girlfriend at the door to work on our fridge after everything was ruined while maintenance was out at waffle house with his girlfriend and brought her in to watch him fix the fridge! SOO RUDE!!! also nothing in fittness room works, half of washer and driers dont work and they raise the price on them every other month, dishwasher barely works, cabniets are ugly and stink cause there so old. Im taking the time to write this so you wont make the same mistake we did and be miserable. I wouldnt wish this on anyone. It may be cheep but its still not worth the money you pay at all! i would NOT reccomend this to friends and family!

The apartments were clean when I moved in but the after hours emergency maintenance were rude and the pool and fitness center were very small and not kept up very well. Never had any problems with bad neighbors, very safe. I am a single female with a new baby and I was never once scared or upset being there by myself. The kitchen cabinet doors were never replaced and the porch is barely big enough to fit a table and two chairs, but the office staff during the day were amazing people, and helped me out whenever possible.

Prices are fairly good but facilities, pool and gym are not well kept. The old kitchen cabinets were never replaced.
