Tried to email them a few times, never received a response. If they cannot even respond to an email, that does not display good follow through. In legal matters, follow through is very important. Very disappointing display of service.

Alex was awesome! So helpful, great price and I walked away with a clear knowledge of what was going to happen and that he would take care of everything.

A Legal Place is the place you want to go for legal Help. I went in to get a restraining order and with out any hesitation it was done that day and the staff there were so very helpful. Sandra was attentive to my every need. Sandra stayed late with me to make sure everything was done and to make sure i felt safe with what was being put on the order. she was very helpful and knowledgeable with what she was doing. I was looking for legal help and found a

"A legal Place" after meeting Sandra she came off a a nice sincere person that wanted to help. She did a declaration for us with no problems. After my son missed his court date we needed to get back to court so on a Fri.we asked her to file a declaration again but we wanted it ASAP.. She agree ,but this time she wanted money up front and that she wouldn't be able to file till Tues. because she was going to Mexico for the weekend, Hmmm.. Well she didn't come back in time. She gave us the run around and the bull for weeks.excuse after excuse.So I totally agree with Selena2009,Joe M., Esmeralda G. ,Adam A. ,Celia M. ,Ray S., Robert ., Black H.,G.G. ,I will go to the BBB but she's already has a F rating. read the complaints. .She's unprofessional, If you have legal problems don't go to "A legal Place" unless you want drama. she should be selling used cars with all that bull. Her motto should be " Baby Mama Sandra Drama"... Ok, you've been WARNNED, rating of 1 is way too much.

Sandra and her staff are very professional in matters that are really hard on the heart. I used Sandra for my divorce. Always available to answer questions and listen to my concerns. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of legal services. Thanks again Sandra and Staff

This is the worse place you can go to do legal paper work they never return your calls and always leave you hanging if I would of known I would of hire someone else. The people that give them.good reviews its because they are family or friends that she helps first. Trust me save your self the headache and dont go there. I learn my lesson

Sandra is very rude, disrespectful and lacks follow through. She is quick to take your money but once she does she is another person. People skills are terrible, lags to return phone calls and will completely forget about your case because she is often traveling to mexico. This buisness is a SCAM. CONSIDER GOING ELSEWHERE IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE.

With me waiting till the last minute to handle my custody papers.she got it all handled and in place for reasonable rate.now I'm proud to say I got full custody of my kid.thank you so much sandra couldn't get it done without you

I agree with all the people that had a bad experience here with the "legal place" as I too had a bad experience. I was warned by many people about this place and still, against all that I still gave Sandra a chance. Yes we all need to save money with lawyers and find an inexpensive way to file for court, so after 1 chat with Sandra, she sold me by her false lies. Not only after weeks of calls and emails that I would never get a call back from her, I stopped in and ask her for myself. As she lied and said "she never received a call and messages from me, I still needed my custody paperwork filed immediately. After another talk and I paid my deposit, she said she would have everything ready in 2 days. As expected from her, another lie and 2 and a half weeks later I get a "text" stating that everything is ready. I come in and everything that I not only told her but brought in previous orders was completely filed wrong and wasn't correct at all. She couldn't remember anything and she can't get her lies straight and assumes what she remembered was correct. She says come back In a few days to have it completed correctly and as I came back, she was very rude and unprofessional as she wanted to show her new clients there that she was right and I was in the wrong. Now I see what others would walk in or call her and interrupt my meeting with her and she would claim that her own "clients' we're not paying her or not getting anything right and she would treat them horrible. I am now a victim of receiving bad service and she plays the "now that I have your money, I'm busy and your bothering me when I have new clients." ***Don't believe her to anybody looking for a paralegal!!! Pay a little more and hire a real lawyer as Sandra pretends to be one and she is giving false impressions as she is only a little paralegal. Thanks Sandra for nothing as I will see you in claims court to get my deposit and "some waste of my time damages" paid in full......oh ya, throughout all this, as I always corrected her, she could never say my name right! As she pretends to know Spanish or even claim she's Mexican, a simple Mexican name she couldn't pronounce right until I have to shorten my name to one letter... Hope you can pronounce it now :) 0 stars would be a better rating....

I real like their service they helped me out a lot. I was referred to A Legal Place 3 years ago from a local attorney. During the last 3 years they have helped me with custody of my son and also got a restraining order dismissed with the response they prepared on my behalf. I would highly recommend them for any Legal document needs. Thank you.

This place is a JOKE!!!! Sandra took advantage of an elderly woman by advising her to fill out a form for an additional $1,000.00 claiming she can get my Mom money within a matter of months. Turns out this process was something that didn't even pertain to my Mother's situation!! When my Mom demanded her money back, Sandra avoided her calls for over a month straight!!! My Mom has stopped calling as Sandra's staff tells my Mom that Sandra won't call her back nor refund her money. WHAT KIND OF PRACTICE DO YOU RUN SANDRA?!? Your reputation should mean something to you OR that is to only ones who run an honest business.

I would NEVER refer anyone to Sandra!

I wish I could give this a 0 rating. This "business" is dirty and unprofessional. They make appointments and then would not be there. They are rude over the phone and they slacked on doing the paper work. Both my ex husband and I were frustrated with their lack of concern for our case. He payed a lot of money to be stood up. I would NOT suggest you use this place for help.

From the second you walk in to the second you leave you are treated not as a customer, but as a family member. If smiles, courtesy and professional are what you're looking for than you need to go to A Legal Place.



I was referred from a law practice in Modesto to a Legal Place to help with my divorce which I've tried to do on my own for about 3 weeks now. I'm not new to paperwork since being in the military had me do many types pertaining to many different standards but California's system of getting a divorce properly filed on your own, although plausible, just wasn't happening for me.



I showed up at 10 AM in hopes to get things at least started and by 3 p.m. today I went home knowing that everything that was needing submission was done and the process was started.



If you're looking for a place to treat you and your case for legal assistance as if it wasn't their priority, go somewhere else.

If you want your case handled with a polished sense of urgency handled by a well qualified staff that makes your problem as if it were their own you should stop reading this and go here now.



Hopefully I don't have to go through another Divorce, but if I do, I know where I'm going to get everything squared away!

Was referred to A legal place from an attorney friend about 5 months ago to help me file papers for child custody. I was having problems with my ex wanting to move and take my son away from me. Sandra helped me keep my son here in California. I am thankful for her efforts and expertise in fulfilling my objective of getting custody of my son. She was very easy going and easy to talk. Highly recommend going here.

Who runs a company by getting to work after 11Am?! Apparently the owner of a legal place. By 11:30am my papers to petition for custody had not even been looked at yet. I had to find another paralegal who did the same work at 1/3rd of the cost. This office might not put up with baby momma/baby daddy drama but I don't put up with paralegal drama. Do yourself a favor before going thinking of going here and go somewhere else.

I first was referred to A Legal Place, in February 2012 through the Stanislaus Sheriff Department for a Process Server. After Speaking with Sandra on a Sunday, I told her my story and boy did I have a story to tell. I was Married for 23 Years and my Ex Husband was refusing to get Served his Divorce Papers, The Sheriff Department in my County and outside of our County was not able to Serve him at his Employment they don't allow their employee to be served on there property.(SAFEWAY DIST. CENTER) In Tracy, CA. In November 2012, I revisited Sandra's office and asked her if she could help me file my Final Documents that were needed due to the ASSETS we shared it needed to be done properly without any mistakes. Sandra quoted me a PRICE of what it will be to get it done, I advise her it was alot to DIVIDE UP she stated just come in with everything you have. Upon my arrival Brief Case in hand she smiled and said WOW Woman!!!!! She did not change the price that she QUOTED me she stated her word is her bond.....Sylvia and Maria were placed on my File to sort thru my documents. After a few visits to her office my documents where submitted to the court within the time allowed. Not only did these women work a miracle with the filing time but they were very sucessful in getting me everything I requested... My Divorce was final on January 8, 2013, and we were scheduled to be in Court on January 10, 2013... When the Clerk stated that our Divorce was final and signed off my Ex and I Looked very confused !! not knowing what was instore for the next level of our lives.

That was a Great Day for Me!!!!



"Oh It Continues"



My Ex Spouse was ordered to Sign over the HOMES, to me within 30 days of the judgment in order for me to do a MODIFICATION on the loan.... My Ex Refused AGAIN to follow the court order....I was afraid that this man was going to make me lose my home. And went to A LEGAL PLACE Again and asked what can I do? We had serious time restraints against us the Bank was going to sell my home on February 11, 2013. Sandra again said I will help you but it may not work but it is worth the shot!!! And a SHOT she did SHE CALLED IT A "HAIL MARY"... She wrote a Request For Order to the Court explaining the Situation informing the Judge how my Ex was not willing to Sign over the HOME to me! The orders where GRANTED to have the Clerk Sign on his behalf on January 28, 2013, The Deed was recorded with My Name Only on the Property, Sandra and I cried on the Court House Steps together that meant the world to me even the Court House Clerk express her feelings. Although we made the deadline my home is Currently in Modification.. If it was not for A Legal Place, I would have lost everything I worked so hard for in past years. I will always recommend A LEGAL PLACE, to Friends and Strangers alike.

This service is NOT recommended by me!

Because they held the TRO (Temporary Restraining Order) I asked them to serve for 3-days and then called me to say they would make an attempt on the next day, a weekend day. Since I had asked to have the subject served at work it would be ridiculous to have a server go out to a company that we had no idea if they would be open of Saturday.

When I asked them why they had not served the documents, the owner, Sandra, was extremely rude telling me that the doc's do not need to be served until 5-days before the court date, which is true. However, a TRO does not go into effect until the subject has been served. And waiting until the 5th day before the hearing would certainly defeat the purpose of a TRO!

If you don't know what you're doing any want some help will get the job do thank you so muc sandra for not making me feel for not making me feel like I'm just another case
