The best food friendly service slow needs more workers

I loved the old school era. carhops, rollerskates and excellent customer service made me a regular.

The A&W on G st is cool because its been around for about 50 years so it has a lot of the nostalgic element such as the old sign out front, the authentic drive in area where girls in roller skates used to serve direct to your car, and tiny seats (were people elfs back in the 50's?) The jukebox is nice also, with 50's music, and a middle age Elvis impersonator even performs here during the summer! Plus the bacon double is killer. Good fries, great cold root beer.

I RECENTLY VISITED THE A & W IN MODESTO. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT, AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS,. THE ONION RINGS ARE LIKE NOTHING I'VE EVER TASTED. THERE WAS EVEN A WAITRESS ON ROLLER SKATES. I ALSO LOOKED THROUGH A BOOK OF COMMENTS LEFT BY OTHER VISITORS AND WAS AMAZED AT ALL THE PLACES THESE PEOPLE WERE FROM.
