Came at the end of the night. The food had obviously been out all day. The crab was dry. The cookies stale and chewy. The ice cream was freezer burnt. The egg drop soup smelled like fish and tasted like chicken broth with egg in it. For $31 the only thing good out of it was the drinks. Big thumbs down.

After reading the two other reviews for this place I figured i would try it. I have been craving really good chinese food for a while now, and havent been able to find anything to satisfy me. So, we decided to try this place last night. It was disgusting! The food was saturated in grease. Other than the flavor from all the oils they use it had no flavor. Even the egg drop soup tasted oily. The only thing I was able to eat was the watermelon which is obviously something they didnt cook.

When they brought us the check for $25.00 for just the two of us I was astonished that they could charge so much for such a disgusting display of a buffet!

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!

I have been to Jumbo Buffet around 40 times now. All you can eat buffet with Chinese and Japanese food, Sushi and a Mongolian grill. Very good selection of food, great atmosphere. One of my favorite Buffet type Oriental restaurants in the Modesto area.



Highly recommended to anyone who loves oriental food and all you can eat.

Very good selection to choose from. Will definitely come back
