The staff could not be ruder, condescending, disdainful and seem to enjoy making me cry.

Recently, I tried to get an appointment with a doctor who I had been going to for 10 yrs. An appointment wasn’t available four one week and no matter how hard I tried to convince the secretary how sick I was, I couldn’t be seen. Afriend told me that at her doctor’s office Aspen Medical Group I could be seen right away. However, I was afraid I couldn’t afford it. My doctor charged $80 a visit. Was I surprised when they said the charge was $50 and if I went to their website I could get a cupon for $25 for my first visit. Matt Freitas was great so was the whole staff. I will never go anywhere else.

I unknowingly had cancer, Matt said it was nothing. Another nurse practioner took one look at my labs and referred me to UCSF which saved my life. After, I had gone back to see the nurse prac that had saved my life, to no avail...he had left the practice(I dont blame him for not wanting to be affiliated). I had requested NOT to see Matt but needed my lab results to know I was free and clear... When Matt FINALLY returned my call he stated " are you sure you want the results? I thought you didnt want to be treated by me?" NO JOKE! HE IS DISGUSTING AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TREAT PATIENTS!

The business is fine. My family's problem is with Matthew Freitas, NOT Dr. Reldon Jones.Matthew Freitas told 3 of my family members that they had a virus. That night my 8 year old grandson was taken to the E.R. and was put in the hospital for 8 days with double pneomonia. Same thing with my 10 month old great grand daughter, she had pneomonia in her left lung, same with my daughter. Matthew Freitas, in my oppinion, is not good at medicine, in fact he's not even a Dr. He's a Nurse Practioner, and a Drs. assistant. If you go to this Aspen Family Medical Group, ask to see someone other than Matthew Freitas, for your health and life as well as your family and friends. P.F. Modesto, Ca.
