not that the BBB means anything at all, which it is a useless entity, but on search of this business i find their accreditation has been revoked. so chew on that before you call these guys.

i got a crotchity old man who never stopped complaining about how he was suppose to be off the clock already. he refused to show me how unit programming worked. (they never gave me a manual at pos). he set the unit to regen told me my faucet for RO (which was dripping) was fine and he'd have to get under the sink to replace it. which he obviously had no interest in doing. he told me to call the office and ask for a 5-button manual, which i did. it's been 3 years - i'm still waiting to receive it. thanks for nothing. go out of business already if this is how you treat your customers.

When we first became customers of Jager & Sons, they were excellent. They returned calls, came to calls on time and in general were very good. For the past month I have been trying to call them for service but I can never get through to them, no matter what telephone number I use. I am not in the process of finding a new service.

Bought a house that had a seahorse softener. The house had been empty for about a year so I thought it would be a good idea to have the softener serviced and learn about it's operation. When I made the appointment (between noon and 4) I asked them to call me 20-30 mins ahead of time to make sure I could be home.The guy shows up at 5, claims to have gotten a busy signal on my cell phone, doesn't test the water. He simply set the timer, the regen cycle, and looked at toilets to make sure they weren't leaking. I saw him leaving the neighborhood as I was coming home and called him right away. He wouldn't come back to answer my questions, so that's $85 wasted. I'll call Lindsay water in Joliet next time.

We have had a Seahorse water softener from this company aka "Jager & Sons" for over 30 years and in all that time we only had 2 service calls. One ended up being a short in the wall plug-in. They came out and reset it and didn't even charge us.###Thanks again. You and your softeners are outstanding.
