Prior to August 2017 I was my own barber for 12 years (same length buzz cut) until I decided to grow my hair out and try new styles. I went to no less than 4 different stylists from multiple Sport Clips locations before deciding that Brooke would be "my girl" moving forward. Not only does Brooke have a great personality, but I also noticed several of the other employees lean on her and it was quite clear early that she was a leader. Brooke takes a consultative approach to the role which I appreciate and has made my "hair transformation" quite enjoyable. If this review were for just Brooke, she would get an easy 5 stars.

The reason for the 4 star rating is because of the overall Sport Clips experience. I would much rather be able to schedule an appointment with my stylist rather than enter the gauntlet prior to the store opening or check-in via the app and try to time it right. I find when I use the app, I'm either way too early or cannot get to the location in time (I live 20 minutes away) and by the time I show up another client has taken my place. I find it to be stressful, inconvenient, and I end up getting my hair cut less than if I were able to schedule an appointment.
