Provided by YP.comThe manager of the restaurant said my McGriddle app coupon was wrong and that I had to buy something in order to get the free sandwich. The coupon on the app (it was a free McGriddle for when the Blazers score over 100 points) did not say anything about having to buy something to get the free sandwich and I even showed her. She said that was wrong and I even showed her the difference between that coupon and another one that did say a $2 minimum purchase was needed to get the free item. She still said it was wrong and then proceeded to tell me she would do it this one time but made me feel stupid for even using my app coupon. I've never had issues with this before and even other McDonald's in the area honor the free coupon. Her attitude forwards me made me feel uncomfortable and my friends and I ended up going to a different McDonald's to get the rest of what we wanted to order. If there are no stipulations on a coupon, that restaurant should honor the coupon and what it says. Because this is a customer service business a person should in no way come out of the establishment feeling dumb for getting a food item. Before her attitude I was prepared to order a lot more things (I had a party of five with me in the vehicle) but after this situation I am hesitant to even return here. If that coupon was wrong there should be a sign somewhere saying so, so that customers can be better prepared with what to order. I go to this McDonald's just about everyday but I think from now on I'll take my business elsewhere.
