Great Job Guys

I had Evan's Tree Service remove a huge old birch tree that was hollow and split (very dangerous), and two large maple trees. They also had to take out fencing to take two of the trees down. They did all of this in 4 short days due to it getting dark early, and everything was back in place and cleaned up beautifully when I got home from work. I am very happy with the service they provided me, and the cost was more than fair as far as I am concerned. Just watching them for a couple hours one day showed me that it took a great team of knowledgeable, experienced and hard workers to get this job done. Thank you to Scott and his guys!

Beware

This man does not have the intregrity or equipment needed to be in business. I was foolish enough to pay him up front in September. My money is gone, but my trees remain. He has nothing but excuses. I've been forced to take legal action.

Run Forest Run

Stay away from this con artist. Unprofessional, asks for money every day. Takes weeks to finish. Won't write up a contract. Didn't finish 2 jobs on our block. Finally we both just paid him to get rid of him. Tore up our yard. Had to pay a guy from another tree service to be able to finish our job. They don't know what they are doing. Almost flipped the truck in our yard. Did flip the truck in a neighboring yard then told the client they needed to pay for the tow truck. The list goes on and on. The only way you can use them is if you pay NOTHING until they are completely finished and cleaned up or they will screw you.

DO NOT USE THIS TREE SERVICE! I REPEAT DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THEM/SCOTT EVANS

Never finished neighbors job that he was hired and paid for in advance. They are elderly he came to their house many times to gain their trust and they foolishly paid up front. He asked my permission to drive in my yard to get to their trees assured me that they would put down boards to drive over. They started job without using the truck but left early that day due to rain. Returned the next day after major rain storm drove the heavy truck thru my yard without using the boards. Major ruts and cracked sidewalk. Scott Evans owner has never looked at my yard kept saying he would make it right that was 6 wks ago. Neighbors job was not completed they are taking to him to small claims court. He is still taking advantage of people in 2014.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY/SCOTT EVANS

Con Artist

Scott came to our home to finish a job he started in Dec. Once again he found much more to do. He conned my husband into doing additional work, but still has not finished it. He asked for cash upfront to buy the plants to replace the plants he removed. We still have not seen him and we are out all the money. It has been over four weeks and he will not return calls. It's ok, though as I have informed all my neighbors and will be placing a sign in my yard warning other potential customers of his scams. I will also place signs in HyVee and may even purchase an ad for the paper. I have also contacted an attorney, however as he has nothing on paper this may be difficult. Check the internet for his arrest record, and the BBB.

Took WAY to long... Excuses Excuses

First quote changed, then crew left bucket truck in our yard and when there was a storm it left HUGE ruts in yard from truck and dropping logs from high in tree. They left branches all over lawn and killed grass. Left garbage all over. Crew left early one day and didn't show up an other. It has been three weeks they have had all their $$ since July 2 and we still don't have our fence back up, yard still isn't fixed, and they no showed again yesterday! Total for tree was $7000!

Good job, Good price, & Cleaned up nicely

After dropping the price, I accepted their bid, which ended up being the lowest. They came out the next day and took down our 60' maple tree. It tooks three hours, which I thought was what was required for five workers to do the job. They cleaned up after themselves very well and didn't leave hardly any wood chips in the yard. I was pretty impressed. 4 out of 5 stars.

Unprofessional Beware

Send out solicitations by phone and then just hang up on you if you politely ask them to discontinue. Unprofessional crew so what will they do to your home?
