Momence Junior High School serves the educational needs of students in grades five through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes English, physical education, language arts, mathematics, science and instrumental music. It employs a guidance counselor, psychologist, technology coordinator, physical trainers and teachers. Momence Junior High School additionally offers special education, career counseling and meal services. The school enrolls more than 360 students and provides several extracurricular activities that include softball and baseball. The school also organizes parent-teacher meetings, sports tournaments and annual events. Located in Momence, Ill., Momence Junior High School is a part of Momence Community Unit School District 1, which enrolls over 1,300 students, and maintains various elementary, middle and high school campuses.
