Staunton River Middle School offers educational programs to students in grades six through eight. The school provides a variety of classes, such as English language, reading, computer applications and foreign languages. The middle school also provides physical and health education to students. The school facility has a media center that offers a variety of books, journals, magazines and online database. Its sports program includes basketball, baseball, swimming, wrestling, track, softball, tennis, golf, volleyball and cheerleading. The middle school also provides special and gifted education services to students with special abilities. Staunton River Middle School is affiliated with the Bedford County Public Schools and has its campus in Moneta, Va.
