In existence since the early 1890s, the Church of Christ is a place of worship for individuals of the Christian faith. Based in Monette, Ark., the church performs religious services, including Sunday morning/evening worship and Sunday morning Bible study. Its building houses an auditorium, a baptistery, fellowship hall with kitchen, nine classrooms, teachers' workroom and six restrooms. The Church of Christ also runs food, finance, children's home, church bulletin, benevolence and youth ministries. It serves the community of Monette, which has a population of approximately 1,800 persons.
