Provided by YP.comPLEASE THINK TWICE ABOUT RENTING AN APARTMENT THROUGH KAMPFER. This company continually violated our safety rights by not responding to urgent work orders. They tried to charge us for a short phone conversation that we had with a maintenance employee about our thermostat. When we moved out, they took a large amont of money from our deposit. claiming it was a cleaning fee, even though we left the place spotless.

Provided by YP.comI am rental property owner in Benton county and own property next to one of Kampfer's rentals for over 3 years. I am appalled by the lack of concern the company shows for its rentals.
I have called Kampfer a number of times to courteously inform them of issues pertaining to their property. In December, a window in the vacant rental was left open for over two months, exposed to the elements, likely causing damage to the property. Despite phone calls to inform Kampfer of the problem, it took the company more than two months to send somebody to close the window.
In another instance, the front of Kampers' vacant rental was vandalized (egged) as they were actively advertising the unit for rent. I called to inform them of the horrible curb appeal and suggested they clean the mess up if they intended to find renters, but nothing was done for over 3 months. The unit was vacant the entire time, undeniably causing lost revenue to the owner.
In another instance, I called to inform Kampfer to that its tenants were smoking inside the structure (it is a non-smoking property), and was treated rudely. The problem has still not been remedied, and on a number of occasions there has been illegal drug activity on the premises. There are simply too many instances to list, but
unreturned phone calls to Larry, emails that lack responses, and rude interactions have been the norm in my interactions with Kampfer, their passivity leading to believe that they do not have an interest in the protecting the owner's investment.
As a rental property owner myself, I would expect a better standard of care from my management company. I cannot attest to the care of Kampfer's other rentals, but what I have witnessed has been carelessness at best, and in some instances, even negligence. There too many examples to list. With liability at the forefront of a property owner's mind, I would suggest looking elsewhere for your management needs. Kampfer has clearly dropped the ball on this one, and I certainly wouldn't sleep well at night with my property in their hands.
