Winnequah Middle School is a part of the Monona Grove School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Winnequah Middle School serves more than 700 students in grades six through eight. Its staff includes teachers, instructional assistants, specialists, counselors, special education coordinators, and custodial and maintenance personnel. The school supports a variety of extracurricular programs in art, music, and physical and technical education. In addition, Winnequah Middle School offers the English Language Learners program. It offers medical care and guidance counseling services to students. The school also provides breakfast and lunch services. Located in Monona, Wis., Winnequah Middle School has a parent-teacher organization that supports and sponsors several events and activities, including open houses, conferences and book fairs.
