Enoch's is the best music venue anywhere in Louisiana north of Lafayette. Service can get a little slowed down when they get packed, but the staff is friendly and treat customers well. A previous reviewer claimed to be mistreated. I've seen a LOT of interactions between staff and customers at this establishment. The only time I've ever seen anyone treated less than well, they were being the kind of A-hole that would have already gotten them 86'd at most places. There's a reason locals keep coming back literally for decades. The place has great music, and fare, friendly service, and a positive overall vibe.

Out of some sense of misguided loyalty? Because this place shows no respect for anyone but their chosen barflys who spend loads of money on drinks here. The older woman who runs the place is a ***** on wheels and looks like she'd rather poke her eyes out with molten lead than say a kind word to anyone. So is her son. Bad, bad vibes. So whut- they serve Guiness and 2-1 $8 hambergers on Tuesdays loaded down with Tony Chacerie's seasoning. There are plenty of bars in Monroe now that know how to treat customers well and plenty of restaurants to eat at where you get much more for youre money - without the attitude. Don't walk away from here-RUN!
