Very poor and disingenuous sales and service

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in July 2014.

Issue #1. Before they would even help me, the finance manager told the salesman to tell me that he couldn't do anything for me until I showed him some money. I had explained that I had an accident and the insurance company was paying the other vehicle off and providing me with my settlement amount. I had a checkbook and wrote a down payment of $10,200.00 after that level of disrespect.

Issue #2. After 2 days of trying to find the right vehicle that the bank would finance, the salesman finally showed me a vehicle stored in the bay that I liked, but questioned. One of the problems was the salesman thought it was okay to tell me that he told this African American couple that the vehicle cost more than what it did, so they had the impression that they couldn't afford it. I'm African American. That may as well could have been me he lied to.

Issue #3. All of their vehicles have warranty sheets on the windows, until you sign the paperwork (bait and switch). The warranties they try to somewhat honor is played out in a good ole' boy shell game between the finance manager,the salesman, and the repair shop. The salesman puts it off on the repair shop. The repair shop puts off on dealership. The finance manager will see you and avoid you. He's the one pulling the purse strings. I have been trying to get to dvd players replaced for over a month now. The salesman has told me everything from "I've been busy with school. The mechanic went on vacation. He (the mechanic) is trying to get some dvd players from some of his home boys. And he wasn't going to spend $1000.00 on dvd players, when he can get them for $500.00. Now, that changed from not wanting to spend $500.00 when can get them cheaper from some "homeboys." Someone needs to explain to him that I'm not a homeboy. $10,200.00 down payment isn't homeboy money.

Issue #4. I requested Disabled Veteran tags, so I don't have have to pay those license fees. I'm already in the DMV's with already having DV tags. The same woman who is tasked with doing vehicle registration cost me time and NON-REFUNDABLE time and money ordered regular tags anyway, saying she didn't know how to order them. Went to the DMV to switch the tags to DV plates. The lady told me that even the DMV will give me a credit (refund),she could not process the transaction without me paying the parish handling fee with cash, check, or credit card all due to stupidity!!!



Disastrous customer service experience!!!
