Jeff Edwards, owner of Twin City Transmission, is a man of his word! Travelling from Dallas TX to S.C. my transmission blew in Monroe LA forcing me to leave my truck with Jeff for full transmission rebuild and rent a truck to go on. Firstly (but not most importantly) Twin City rebuilt the transmission at the price they originally quoted which was very competitive with Dallas rates. I wondered if I would encounter any up-charges ( "Well sir, your upper Knudsen valve was bad and that's not included" -- we've all heard similar) did not happen. The truck was fixed at the agreed cost, and ready to go when I returned ten days later.

Now for the really important part! When I picked up the truck I asked Jeff what the heck do we do about warranty service since I live in Dallas, TX? He told me that if there was a problem that I could take it to the shop of my choice and he would pay for repairs. Well the Ford transmission has a chronic problem with the "Solenoid Block" that controls shifting. Although I know that Jeff replaced it when he rebuilt the trans, the new one failed during the eleventh month of my warranty. Jeff had absolutely no problem paying for the repairs, costing him well over $1K.

A man of his word, especially in the automotive repair business, is very rare today. Jeff Edwards at Twin City Transmission is someone you can trust.

Heading cross country with my family our transmission in the Kia went out while towing the popup camper. Took it in to Tracey on Tuesday and he had us back on the road Wednesday with a new transmission. We continued onto Los Angeles and made it all the way back home to Florida with no problems. Tracey and his team found the fastest solution to get our van running again backed with their quality workmanship.
