Provided by YPmobileOur family loves it here. You can rent a canoe or paddle boat, kids love all the animals around. It is very peaceful and quiet, time to relax and enjoy! Staff is always ready to go above and beyond what is expected of them. Will be back as much as possible!

Provided by YP.comThis Campground has obviously been through a lot of changes! There is a playground, and a nature trail.... and this place was FULL of kids and families all summer in 2014. Very clean, friendly staff, and we will be back for sure!!!!
What a difference a couple years can make .... obviously.

Provided by YP.comFirst off, I want to state I do not work for this park and I don't know any of the owners or anything else like that. This is an HONEST review.
My husband and I found this park online through the Good Sam website and decided to try it out. Bset choice ever! It's a very low key park, not a lot of kids running around and screaming. We liked the quiet atmosphere that the park offers. Staff was a little overworked when we went up to buy some firewood (trying to answer phones and help the people in the lobby) but they were still very nice to us.
We bought firewood from them and yes, we did have to carry it back to our campsite ourselves (which most campground I have went to you have to carry it yourself so I have no idea what the lady was complaining about in the other review) but we expect to do some dirty work while camping.
Showers and bathrooms - I have to say I was very, very impressed with the facilities here. Everything was clean, there was no trash in any of the bathrooms and it really was probably the nicest bathrooms I have seen while camping. I had no problem showering in these and I wasn't grossed out by anything. (Usually in campground bathrooms there are at least a few bugs but I didn't see any)
There is not a lot for kids to do at this campground and I hope they keep it this way. There is a swimming pond (did not use but will try next time we are there) and that is about it. But less things for kids to do means more adult campers and less kids :) Which is what some people prefer when going on vacation.
Overall would I tell my best friend to go here? YES! We are plannign a trip in August so they can go :) If you have kids will they have fun here? Probably not unless they are good at keeping themselves entertained (no playgrounds or anything for them to do) Will I be going back here? You betcha! Already have the reservations :)

Provided by YP.comI agree with Crystal! We had the unfortunate pleasure of staying here two years ago. It was such a bad experience that we haven't even thought about going back here! Curiosity happened to get me today, that's why I wanted to see what others were saying. Apparently, the person who commented and loves the place either works here, or escaped the misery of this place. But hey, try it for yourself and see. I had to give one star because I couldn't leave it blank with none!!

Provided by YP.comWHAT A HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN! WE CAME IN ON A THURSDAY AND BY SATURDAY FOUND OURSELVES PACKING WITHOUT A REFUND! MY KIDS WERE SPOKEN TO RUDELY AND TREATED LIKE THEY WERE CONSTANTLY DOING SOMETHING WRONG! THE STAFF LITERALLY MADE MY 9 YR OLD SON WALK A 1/2 MILE TO OUR SITE WITH A BROKEN WAGON WITH 2 BUNDLES OF WOOD IN IT BECAUSE THEY WOULDNT PUT IT ON HIS SCOOTER LIKE THEY DID THE NIGHT BEFORE! EVEN THE OWNER MAKES EXCUSES FOR THE WAY HIS EMPLOYEES SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS. WE WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
