Caring Alternatives, established in 1986, provides home care, counseling and community education services to help individuals restore and maintain independence and well being. Its nonmedical support services assist individuals with general activities of daily living, such as shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, transportation and assistance with pets, and personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, medication set up, physical transferring and health monitoring. The center s skilled care service team comprises nurses, physician's assistants, certified nursing assistants, and occupational and physical therapists. Its home care services are available 24-hours, seven-days a week on a prescheduled basis. It also provides counseling on anger management and personal coaching. Caring Alternatives has branch locations in Monroe and Temperance, Mich.
