Papa John's is one of the world's largest pizza companies that maintains more than 3,000 locations in over 45 U.S. states and nearly 25 international markets. Established in 1984, the company operates and franchises pizza delivery, carryout and dine-in restaurants worldwide. Its restaurants menus include a variety of pizzas along with several side dishes, such as breadsticks, chicken strips and wings, canned drinks and desserts. The restaurants pizzas are made from the blends of wheat flour, cheese, sauces and spices with a choice of meat and vegetable toppings. Papa John's serves thin-crust pizzas with the packets of special seasonings and peppers. The company was recognized by the Restaurants & Institutions magazine with the 2008 Silver Award for Consumers' Choice in Chains in the pizza segment.
