About Three former employees of Wemh ner America formed Protech International in November of 2000. Wemh ner America was in the process of ceasing operations in the United States and the employees felt the time was right to start a new company. In the beginning our focus was to provide service and parts for customers with hot presses, specializing in Wemh ner presses. The business has quickly evolved into several other areas of the woodworking industry, as cooperation and affiliations with several German manufacturers have allowed us to serve more than just our customer's press needs. We currently represent Wemh ner Anlagen ( the material handling division of Wemh ner ) for sales, service, and parts in the North American market. We are also the North American representative for Oest glue mixing equipment, Ernst sanding machinery and a U.S. representative for Brkle membrane press equipment. We are a distributor for Hawe hydraulics and offer the best pricing available for their products. We continue to develop these relationships and expect to offer our customers a broader range of products and services in the future. As always the press needs of our customers remains at the core of our operation. Our parts department has developed a reputation for courteous and informed service, while consistently providing the lowest prices. This has made our parts division the fastest growing portion of our business. We import directly from the original manufacturers in Germany and pass the savings to our customers. Savings of 50% are not uncommon. Parts for all German manufactured equipment are available.
