10 Stars! for "The Rug Store". Look no Further if you’re looking for Quality Carpeting, Excellent Customer Service, & the Best Prices in Orange County, N.Y. My Husband and I went to the Store, and were greeted by Hershy, who was super friendly & listened carefully to exactly what Color, & Type of Carpet I needed for two sets of stairs, Landing and the upstairs Foyer. He gave me a large sample to take home, to make sure it was just what I wanted. A few days later He promptly came to my Home and took measurements. The next week Hershy sent Frank a Professional Carpet Installer and his helper Jason to my home to remove the old Carpet and Padding, and install the New. WoW! A Perfect installation. No Cleanup necessary, they did it all, and even vacuumed thoroughly. I will only use “The Rug Store” from now on for any Carpeting, Wood/Laminate Flooring needed in my Home. I never write reviews but I had such an exceptional experience with The Rug Store I feel it worth the time. Mr Stern provides a customer service that one rarely sees these days. He ordered several large swatches for me have in my home so I could make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. He personally came to measure and then returned with the installer to review the specifics. The end job turned out perfect. I must mention that the gentlemen the who installed the carpet were true professionals. ( thank you to Brian, Dan and Joe for a great job, your experience shows ) Finally, The price was the same as the Big Box store , I know because I tried that first !

This store not only has an excellent carpet selection, but they give you such exceptional service. They are extremely professional and helpful from start to finish, including carpet selection, delivery and installation. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a carpet.

It was a refreshing shopping experience with Professional Excellent Service. They went out of there way to get the carpet installed within 2 days. We went to the Big chain stores but the employees don't have any knowledge and not willing to work with you. The Rug Store is a family run business with Great Customer Service and Knowledge of the product. The installer arrived on time and had 40 years of carpet installation experience. We can't thank them enough without them we would not have any carpet in our house. We wouldn't go anywhere else we highly recommend this store.

It was a nice experience to shop at a carpet store where the owner helps you choose a carpet and comes to your home and measures the job himself. Very professional from the moment I walked into the store to the time the installers arrived and were very pleasant and did a fantastic job. Very highly recommended.
