Operational since 1995, Sugar Maple Emu Farm operates as an emu breeding, hatching and growing facility. Located in Brodhead, Wis., the firm breeds birds ranging from 25 to more than 200 in number. It offers a variety of emu products, such as oil, leather, meat, eggs, craft items and jewelry. The firm is a member of the American Emu Association (AEA), Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation (WFBF), Wisconsin Ag Tourism Association (WATA) and Emu Producers of America (EPOA).
