Provided by YP.comI'm sure this has no reflection on how this company runs business, and my rating is for this particular real estate agent. Matt Foulkrod, with the North and West Office of Arbor Management, showed my husband and I through three homes this past Fall, and we ended up not taking any of them. Fast forward five months and I find another property on Craigslist listed by Mr. Foulkrod, I contacted him stating who I was and that I would like to view the home listed. He replies with a rude email stating that "He wasted a lot of time (showing us a whopping three homes, mind you) running around showing us houses and it amounted to nothing, and that he would need proof that we were out of our lease" which has absolutely no bearing on if a real estate agent shows a home or not. We were currently in a lease last fall, but our landlord agreed to let us out because all of the water issues in the basement bedroom. And Mr. Foulkrod knew this. He is an extremely rude, unprofessional individual. Beware. We only looked at THREE HOUSES! I would hate to know how he treats people that look at dozens!

Provided by YP.comI have rented from Arbors Management for years before moving out of state and buying. Rather surprised people had trouble with repairs being taken care of (and not surprised). It always depended on who took my call. Vivian Lavery was my agent. Took days to get a call back and then she would talk rather loudly (almost screaming) at simple repair request, like it was my fault the sink trap was leaking. On the other hand, if Jim took my call, he always told me if I did not hear from the contractor by a certain time to call him back that same day. Or if I left a message Jim called back and would leave the information as to who would be calling to take care of the repair, that way I knew who to expect. Vivian on the other hand never called to say she even got the message or let me know who was coming. Days later someone would just show up. So the company it's self is not bad to deal with. It just depends on who takes your call. There seems to be no set rules on how an agent should handle problems. I will be moving back to Pittsburgh in 6 months and will call Arbors first to help me find a rental for a year until I am ready to buy again. So 4 stars to Arbors thanks to Jim or 1 star to Arbors thanks to Vivian Lavery.

Provided by YP.comI am corrently renting thru arbors and I am very unhappy.
I was first dealing with my lkandlord directly but he entered a contract with them in January. I love my house but Im ready to give it up because of the poor management thru Arbors. What I dont undersand is how my property owner do his own maintenace on the house but never recieve the mesages until I treaten to put in ESCRO. The lady Sue who oversees the property is never availible to speak with and never return calls. Its nerve racking as all hell because things that can be avoided dont because of this.
Their contract is so unreal that they must pay lawyers a million to tie up every loose end. I say this because I want out of my lease for various reasons and cant. They also do as they want w/o the property owners knowledge or say. Arbors quote is "this is how we do it and its in our contract." leaving the property owner in a bind of losing tenants because of the petiness.

Provided by YP.comI have rented from Arbors for many years and have always found them to be very responsive to any problems I have had. I would definitely rent from them again and refer my friends.
