Kalena M Groomer was excellent. Very personable and patient especially when I left my dog Parker’s rabies shot info at home. She did a good job with the grooming in a timely manner. Just seemed genuine with strong character

I work in an industry that grows by our reviews so I usually don't take them so lightly. But this has been the last straw for me with this Petco location. When my dog was injured by a larger dog during your obedience class due to a substitute teacher who didn't know how to control the animals I didn't want to hold the grooming center accountable for their actions. So over the summer I took my dog back to you to the groomers. He was given a puppy cut so he's shaved down pretty tight. When I picked him up they walked him threw monstrous piles of dog fur on the floor I questioned their sanitation but again, didn't say anything. It took us the entire summer and a lot of money to get rid of the flee infestation that I'm certain that visit caused. After all, if my dog had them when I took him there they would have told me. Keep in mind too, he's a very small, very old dog that doesn't go outside much either. It didn't take long to realize where he had got them from. I thought of writing this review then. Fast forward to today. It's the holiday season & he desperately needed groomed. I don't like to do it myself when it's cold cause I don't have the equipment to dry him & he's a little cantankerous about being brushed anymore. To add yes, he has a bit of a cough, but again, he's very old. In my desperation I made my appointment for today with Petco, 8am things should be pretty clean & maybe he'll be the only one there. I was there early in case they wanted to get an early start. Honestly the woman acted like she didn't even want to be bothered, first complaining that I didn't shut her automatic door (not my business, not my job... So yes I purposefully left it open on my way out) then she stuttered around her excuses as to why she didn't want to take care of him. That's honestly fine by me, cause I really didn't want her taking care of my dog either. Good riddance Petco, can't say it's ever been nice doing business with you.
